Gomez, Lopez, KB, Ozzie, Chachi

 It was a Saturday morning. I woke up early like I was going to work...met up with Wong and Cam. We skated some good pools, looked at a few, then went our separate ways and --while driving home -- I still had the "pool bug." I  needed to search some more. I  stopped at this abandoned house I had spotted while I was on a delivery for work. I parked far away and entered through a hole in the fence that the homeless people had made. I walked into the shallow and saw that  the pool was filled with leaves and debris. I spotted dirty clothes, syringes, porn and medical containers. The pool had meatloaf coping so grinds would be gnarly but I had my eyes set on the loveseat. I began to sweep. After a bit of sweeping,  I looked in the deepend and saw concrete patches under the meatloaf coping in a few spots. I thought to myself - "I bet Salba put that there to get airs out of it."  (but later I found that Riverside Shawn did it - hahaha!) So after the pool looked clean, I  took a few mellow runs and figured I might come back with a crew that would be ready to skate....  that crew came by today!  Gomez (25th birthday), Lopez, Chachi, Riverside Shawn & Ozzie. It was filthy, dirty, dusty, lumpy, kinked and disgusting. It was paradise!  - Kevin Burke (30th birthday)
